LIBERTY HILL POLICE DEPARTMENT RESERVE OFFICER PROGRAM

LHPD has a very unique Reserve Officer Program. Each officer must be licensed in accordance with Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) as a fully commissioned officer. Once through the Field Training Officer (FTO) program the officer is put on the streets the same as the fully paid officers. All on duty equipment (handgun, duty belt, etc.) must be supplied by the officer. The department pays for 2 shirts, the badge, radio and supplies the patrol car. The program is comprised of a full line of different experienced officers.
